WUR accounts are now even more secure!

Since filming yourself taking an exam has been normalised, WUR decided to take another step into the secure online age. Students must now verify that they are in fact themselves through phone authentication when accessing top secret university emails and the exclusive content of brightspace. Experts have confirmed that this creates an extra layer of security on top of the exclamation mark students add to their password every few months.

The complex procedure entails students considering whether they have an office phone and receiving a call from a robotic voice asking to press the hash key – differentiating between traffic lights and dogs seemed too simple a challenge for the notorious WUR hackers. On the bright side, losing your phone is now a reasonable excuse for missing that compulsory statistics practical.
